Cheese Paratha

I am starting with the easiest and yummiest recipe. Cheese paratha is something that I make when I have the roti dough in my refrigerator and I am in no mood to cook lot of things or vegetables.

Ingredients
  • Cheese
  • Dough for roti
  • Green Chilies
  • Ginger
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter

Method
  • Grate the cheese.
  • Add to it finely chopped green chilies, ginger, salt and pepper and mix everything lightly.
  • Take two lemon size balls of the dough.
  • Roll them like rotis.
  • Put the cheese mixture one roti and cover it with another roti.
  • Slightly press the rotis at the edge so that the cheese does not come out.
  • Cook the paraths on tawa applying butter on both sides. Make it crispy if you wish.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Notes
Most of the times, my two rotis are not same size. To take a shortcut, I take one roti and put the mixture on half of it, and cover it with the other half of the roti. :)

I just tried adding finely chopped onion to the mixture and it tasted awesome!!

Hi

Hi..

So here I am joining the gang of few friends who are posting their recipes with lot of dedication. I don't know if I am such a dedicated person. Mostly I love to cook, but I am not much into taking pictures and writing things down. I hardly believe in cooking everything with measurements, so my recipes are mostly for people who know the basics of cooking. This is not Cooking-101 :)
